VP of Engineering

We are seeking a Vice President of Engineering to join our Austin, TX team in a role that combines technical know-how with engineering leadership and support. You will have the chance to build your team and work closely with the CEO on both R&D and customer projects. Previous aerospace and/or automation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build a team of engineers to design, manufacture, and install automated solutions
• Translate company vision into concrete, measurable engineering deliverables
• Set engineering roadmap and priorities, and efficiently run day-to-day operations
• Enable aggressive product completion timelines while meeting quality targets
• Develop standards and procedures to ensure quality standards are met and consistent across various engineering teams
• Provide ongoing management and coaching

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic engineering (or similar)
• 10+ years experience in leading or managing engineering teams
• 5+ years of experience in project management
• 3+ years of experience working with senior leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives
